So, from the time I last updated it looks as though it will be the latter of what I said would happen: nothing new will likely be added any time soon. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I thought I would have. The bus rides are much less productive, as well, partially because I've been devouring the Sandman comics (which are quite lovely, if you haven't read), and partially because I'm usually brain fried -- either from lack of sleep, or from too much code, depending on the time of day -- to think about graphics. Well, it's been an oddly busy summer considering my unemployment. I haven't been making textures too much for several reasons: I finally launched my web site (with my portfolio, perfumery, etc), have been doing some freelance here & there, have been traveling, have been volunteering at Hollow Earth Radio, and job hunting like crazy. Next week I officially go back to Microsoft (yet again...4th time's a charm?), which could either mean two things: lots of stuff gets posted because I will have my spiffy laptop on the bus to and from work (with wi-fi, thank you Puget Sound Mass Transit), or I won't be posting anything at all because I'll still be

I'm back in the real world, mostly rested, mostly bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, etc. etc. and finding out what Spring in Seattle is really all about: it's about taunting blue skies in the day, and jeering rain in the evening. But we did manage to venture yesterday, even in the evening rain, so that was good. Being outside is good. I've just forgotten, sort of, what being outside means in a place where weather really happens. Weather doesn't happen in Texas, unless you count "wind" as weather. Personally, I don't.
